We only purchase the finest estate coffees, 100% arabica beans from around the globe, small batch roast them to peak flavor and ship them the same day for your enjoyment. Over espresso the years we have done extensive testing to determining both the length of time and temperature to optimize each beans best qualities and to achieve the most desired flavor. We measure the temperature of the bean during roasting, not just the inside temperature of the roaster. This eliminates inconsistencies in espresso roast depths due to outside factors such as humidity, barometric pressure and ambient temperatures. We bag the beans in silver foil bags with one way valves while the coffee is still warm. The one way valve allows the coffee to breath but keeps the air out. Air is damaging to espresso the freshly roasted coffee.

We opened California Coffee Roasters in nineteen ninety seven, we started out as a coffee house. Which included a coffee roaster. I felt we needed to roast are own coffees to set us apart from the wave of corporate coffee houses and franchises being opened. espresso Roasting our own coffees allowed us to create blends no one else had and to have the freshest and highest quality coffees possible. Our coffees have become so popular with local restaurants, stores and business. We decided to sell our coffee shop and strictly focus on roasting coffee full time. espresso Our coffees are now being served across America and Asia. It makes us very proud.

This coffee is a blend of five types of organic coffees to create the perfect organic espresso blend. It is intense with a sweet smooth finish. Great for mocha´s and lattes.

Our espresso coffee beans are slow roasted and only roasted to order, each bag is dated espresso (roast on dating) to guarantee freshness. All coffee beans come in air tight foil bag with one way valves to preserve the great taste. You can choose the desired grind and roast for your beans.

Trivia-Espresso was invented in Italy by Luigi Bezzera 1903, the owner of a manufacturing espresso business. He was not happy because his employees were taking long coffee breaks! If only he could shorten the brewing process used to make coffee, his employees would take shorter coffee breaks. He set out to built the first espresso machine. Luigi Bezzera´s machine reduced brewing time from several minutes espresso to just 20 seconds, but it also made a better cup of coffee! A faster brewing time allows for the best qualities of the coffee beans to be extracted, avoiding some of the unfavorable qualities associated with over-extraction.
